We have been concerned that in today's world, not many take the time to understand the Bible.

here's a parable of what we're talking about.

I opened the door to let the cat out. He seemed to want to go, but hesitated. Since it's a cold, frosty morning, I held the door open longer than usual. He wasn't sure. I waited, but he still wasn't sure. I gave up.

There are some Christians who are not sure. We have decided NOT to give up . . . just yet.

As we all know, the world is a large, complicated place in which to try to live. We need to be strong, wearing the "armor of God" as we venture out the door. Let's call this the "6:10 Fortifier" (found in Ephesians).

As Christians we have the helmet, the breastplate, the sword, the shield, even the shoes, but is the belt slipping a notch or two? Sometimes truth is hard to come by. Perhaps we rely on others for the truth, instead of finding what we need to know on our own.

Our web site operates to expand your understanding of the truth. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life". One way to understand what Jesus meant is to study Him through the Bible. We offer you a glimpse into our version of "Hi-lights" of the Bible. This is seen through the eyes and ears of "The Pastor's Corner" and "A Student's Notes".
